it's been crazy here...bluegrass...freshman initiation (foot washing)...and tomorrow is the Fant Atlanta trip to the Varsity/Braves/Barlow Girl! so excited!
I have so much stinking reading. bleh. although most of it is quite interesting...which is good.
I should probably do laundry. yeah. probably.
oooh a nap sounds good too. yes. a nap. hmmm.

I feel better physically which has made the rest of me spiritually, emotionally, intellectually a lot better! Praise the Lord!
things are good here. good. I'm learning to handle one problem at a time. which has helped my stress levels...ohmygoodness yes.
more of my girls are getting here which is nice...I'm ready for an entire hall full of girls...oh yes. yes.
okay. I have a meeting in tenish minutes which I have to prepare for...so I'll catch y'all on the yeehaw side! YeeHaw!

| move in day was today for all the crazy wonderful freshmen....including the one and only Danielle Gross...completely exciting!
I'm sick. Micki. I don't know what you had...but whatever it was I'm pretty sure you gave it to me...even though I wasn't there to get it. :) the whole...headachy-sinusy-sore throat-coughy-sneezy thing. not fun. bought tons of drugs (the legal kind) at wal-mart yesterday. so I'm hoping I'll be better by the time classes start....hopefully.
please pray for me this year. already I'm stressed and am feeling the enemy just attacking me with negative thoughts about my ability as an RA...and it's really dragging me down....BUT God is my strength when I am weak. so true. man o man....spiritual warfare. gotta love it.

I'm back in Toc-town. (err. Toccoa) ha.
lastnight was insane...after a massive trip to wal-mart (which in itself was insane) and unloading and unpacking a few things and getting the lihts for my hall hung up...I was exhausted at around 9:30(I blame it entirely on wal-mart)...it decided to storm something fierce. saw some sky to ground lightning blow something up...it was pretty intense....got to the motel...and fell asleep...
now I'm back at the dorm...parentals are leaving soon...and I get to attack all the shopping bags and have a grand old time by myself until around ten when Hannah and Karen both show their beautiful faces!
Missing the Journey kids like crazy already...when I'm deorating tonight I'll be thinkin' about D-groups and I'll the fun!!!

| I leave tomorrow. ug. where has the summer gone? I guess time really does fly when you're having fun. who knew.
lastnight was amazing. bowling (with plenty of strikes to go around). Zaxby's. movies at Tommy's. funstuff.
I'm so stressed. I have so much stinking packing to do and so not enough time. I have 3 hours to get everything done. everything.
My step-sister Elizabeth graduates today from Basic Training. which is pretty exciting.
Today is the first day of school for Houston County. I was thinking. Last summer I really missed High School. I really wanted to go and see my teachers and the football games and band...but this summer...wow. not even a hint of missing it. which I must add is a good thing. because the 'college life' as I know it...is a kajillion times better. yep. better.
okay. I need to go figure out how I'm going to get everything I own into 3 suitcases. ug.
